Donna Nowak, CH, CRT is the Chief Executive Officer of MBSC and as of February 2008, the Executive Director also of the American Holistic Medical Association. Her 30+ years of nonprofit volunteer service ranges from founding board member of the Lake County Sexual Assault Center in the 70?s, to Outstanding Account Executive for United Way in the 80?s, and founding president of the Ohio Turnaround Management Association in the 90?s. She is a life member of the Association for Research & Enlightenment (ARE) and International Association for Regression Research & Therapies (IARRT). She is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists (NATH), and American Association of Professional Hypnotists (AAPH).
Donna has 20+ years of professional management experience, with a specialization in business start-ups and the turnaround of troubled companies. She has assisted many for-profit and nonprofit corporations in organizational restructuring and revitalization.
Tanya Edwards, MD is Medical Director of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation?s Center for Integrative Medicine, where she provides integrative medicine consultations focusing on 'mind, body and spirit needs' of patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University in 1982 and her medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1987. She has been practicing holistic medicine for more than ten years and has been Associate Professor, Family Medicine, at Case Western Reserve University. Before stepping into the board presidency role, Tanya was Chair of MBSC's Membership Committee and a frequent (and favorite) presenter at MBSC educational events.
Henry 'Hank' Roth, J.D. serves as senior corporate counsel for SIRVA Relocation, LLC, a global relocation services provider to Fortune 1000 companies throughout the world. He first joined MBSC in 2003, has been an active committee member, and also a generous supporter.
Hank has served on numerous boards as both Chair and a member. He also facilitates a 12-week course in prosperity transformation and commitment at various Unity churches in northeastern Ohio. Students can expect a renewal of mind and a change in consciousness that expresses in the manifest realm.
Michelle Cameron, RN, BSN, RM is Program Manager, Nursing Wellnes for the Cleveland Clinic.
Michelle is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and the convener for Northeastern Ohio. She is a Reiki Master, Licensed HearthMath Instructor and is trained in Hawaiian Touch Medicine. Michelle enjoys swimming, hiking, gardening, and dancing. She is a Certificated Instructor for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Deborah Dockery, RVT is a chaplain, as well as a sonographer (Ultrasound Imaging) who is passionate about complementary and alternative medicine. She served as one of MBSC's founding directors and rejoined the board in 2006. She has served on the Programming Committee, been proactive about finding collaborative opportunities, and is helping with the 2008 Mother's Day Tea.
Jane Ehrman, M.Ed. is a Mind/Body Specialist with Associates in Counseling & Wellness, as well as the Cleveland Clinic Center for Integrative Medicine. She earned her Masters in Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1994 and did her post-graduate course work at Harvard University's Mind/Body Medical Institute and Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
Jane is well-known for creating a safe and comfortable environment for her clients through her sense of humor and engaging style. Her mission is to help people turn crises into opportunities for healing and personal growth. She has good business 'common sense' and has a 'get it done' kind of approach which makes her a valuable contributor to the Board of Directors. Jane previously served on MBSC's Membership Committee, the 2007 Benefit Committee, and is also an active volunteer in MBSC's Speakers Bureau.
Dennis Kenny, D. Min is a psychologist, theologian, and spiritual caregiver who has been a translator of ideas throughout his 25-year career. He is the founding Director of the prestigious Institute for Health and Healing of the California Pacific Medical Center, chosen by Natural Health magazine as the leading holistic hospital in the United States, and Director of the Center's Spiritual Care Department. The Institute for Health and Healing is a national leader in integrative medicine, and Rev. kenny hsa played a crucial role in its innovation, organization and growth. His initial article on personal covenants has become a staple of spirituality curricula in training programs in many parts of the world. Dennis became Director of Pastoral Care at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2006.
Carol Russetti After studying graphic design at the Cooper School of Art and managing a local commercial photography studio, Carol's career followed a very interesting path. She was recruited to join a commercial photo lab to introduce and market newly acquired, cutting-edge technology to the graphics industry. Because of her knowledge of the technology and her design background, she was then referred by the technology manufacturer (the company that made the equipment) to the first printer/mailer for whom she worked. She later moved to an even larger printer/mailer and eventually became an independent print broker. She then chaired a major fun(d)raiser, married in 2006 and finally retired, allowing her to devote time to organizations about which she is passionate, such as MBSC.
Lynne Szanyi is a Project Manager in the corporate arena, demonstrating a diverse range of business and leaderhsip skills. She previously served on the Body-Mind-Spirit Committee of the Cleveland Women's City Club and has been a member of the MBSC silent auction committee for three years. Lynne served as Chair for the 2007 'Manifest Your Dream' Masquerade Dinner/Dance Annual Benefit and is chairing the 2008 fundraiser as well.
